LegUp
LegUp stands for Legislative Update.
Legislative Update deals with information about political developments
in the state of New Mexico. It focuses mainly on issues before the
legislature, including explanations of bills, debates and votes.
Senator Adair discusses his thoughts on public policy as he asks
for and receives input, not only from constituents but readers from
around the state. Some 4,800 of the more than 13,500 subscribers
are from the southeastern New Mexico district he represents.
Some articles are devoted to local issues in and around Roswell,
Artesia, or Chaves, Eddy and Lincoln counties. However, even these
are used to illustrate public policy debate and options, the consequences
of which yield lessons which are applicable throughout the state.
